Parties, pens and pictjures go together like ice cream and cake.  You can create a children’s party using dress-up props.  Designate a photographer to take pictures of the kids.  Print out the pictures using photo paper and then let the kids be the artists using the Sakura pens and the paper and photo mats.  In the end the party goers get to have a souvenir of the fun party and have fun while they create it.

Here are some tips for using the pens:

  • Use the Sakura opaque, glitter and 3-D pens on the darker color mats and paper for added drama.
  • 3-D ink dries more slowly than other inks.  Mention this to the guests so they won’t smudge their designs
  • Fill in the open spaces of the raised Sticklers with  the Souffle or Glaze pens
  • Take more than one photo of each guest.  Print the photos at the party an d write or draw on the photos.
